We ran some errands today and as usual, ended up at Target. Against budgeting-better judgment, I picked up the Clone Wars Anakin Skywalker as well as the Padme Amidala Evolutions set. This Anakin is definitely cute and since I have some of the other film and animated CW versions of him, I should have one for the new CW film, as well. *grins* I'm happy that I now have more of Padme, too, and though I do enjoy that they chose pretty sparkly!princess!nightgown!Padme, part of me wishes they didn't make her arms jointed. It would have been nice to have a fourth one (I know, that would be unfair since the other Evolutions sets only have three) depicting her in one of her Senate ensembles from RotS. Obviously, she is the mother of the twins and should be acknowledged as such, but she was so much more than that. But then again, I could just be projecting here with my personal issues of child-bearing women being more commonly noted for their role as mother than all of the other roles or positions they hold within their lives. It's probably just me. *laughs*
