Black Friday, I ventured out of my house to go shopping...and bought everything I needed (including jeans and another book) with general ease. Traffic wasn't terrible, at all, and I found parking spots at each place within five minutes. What are people talking about?
Also, with a bunch of family, I had Thanksgiving #2. My family enjoys adjusting holidays to the times that everyone can actually celebrate them. The dinner was nice, with at least five types of pie (not to mention coffee) for dessert. I accidentally ventured into my grandma's bedroom and spilled cologne on myself, though, so now I smell like spices and poppy.
One downer, today: I called the place where I work, and it turns out this one manager gave me crap information. Ugh. At least I know I have a job for winter break...I think.
Otherwise, I'm having a field day with the ABC.com online player. I have happily caught up with a number of Pushing Daisies episodes. That show is so quirky and dark. It's very good, so far.
