I've backed up all my important writings from this place. There's been many wonderful years and some pretty awful ones. All in all, I won't be sorry to move places. Might even try out a new online handle. O.o The amount of time it took just to get the writings I cared about, and the mild worry that I wouldn't be able to get them to load.... Yeah.

I went for starting fresh. Although, the writing that I have in mind will probably continue on from some of the stuff that's been in livejournal.

I saw little point in reposting it when I now have it backed up, and that's the only writing a still really care about.

What decision did you end up going with?

Kind of both ... I'm thinking I'll probably mirror my posts over here, at least some of them. I'm kind of planning/hoping that starting a Dreamwidth account will inspire me toward more creative posting.

Dreamwidth is seeming to have that effect on a lot of us who have just moved over. It's sort of that brief period on livejournal a couple of years ago when all of us were writing story pieces. Only this is opening wider to include photography and music.

Maybe it would be better to send them via a LiveJournal message, rather than email. I only need one code, now, though.
