This learning to drive at 27's got some things going for it...
- Over the age of 21, I have no need for a log book and/or 120 hours. I also wouldn't have needed that just because I got my learners before July 2007. So I might have my P's in under a year. Might. Maybe.
- After two years with my beloved psuedonym777, I know the sound of an engine that needs to be put to the next gear.
- My partner is a person who is on his full licence. And is happy to take me out. And is patient. And is pretty. Though that last is distracting.
On driving at all:
I'm having fun not crashing the car, stalling the car, learning the clutch is evil and must be punished. Trying to figure the size of the car is also fun, especially when I am driving between a parked car and a car coming at me in the next lane. The little dance I do from passenger side, where Fergie is teaching me something by demonstration, to driver's seat is kinda fun.
Oooh, and that's a Fergie just returned home!
