Update on Victoria

I need to update here with some cute stories.

Lately, I've been testing V's comprehension. I asked her "Where's Elizabeth?" (our dolly), and she looked at me, crawled over to her, and pulled her out. The next day, I said, "Where's your puzzle?", and she did the same with her puzzle!

Yesterday, she asked me to read to her. She was playing with her stacks of books, and pulled one out and handed it to me. I read it to her 4 times, before *I* got bored with it, and asked her to please select another book to read.

She dumbfounded her daddy the other day when she was on the bed, and tried to crawl off. I reminded her how to get down safely by going "feet first", and she paused, looked at me, and turned around.

Another cool story is when she crawled over to her potty, and tried to pull it out. I realized that she needed to pee, so we got her on it ASAP!

She's starting to talk, too. No one can really hear it yet but me, but I know she's trying to say words. For example, I gave her some food, and told her it was "hot!", and she looked up at me and said, "optch?" It was so cute! Today at dinner, I gave her a piece of apple, and said, "Here's some apple", and she said, "apapap" She also says kitty, ball (or blue, not sure which it is), "up", and mama.

She's also starting to crawl on hands and feet instead of hands and knees, so I think walking isn't too far behind. Golly, there are so many interesting things she's been doing lately! I don't have time to list them all, because she's demanding my attention!
