Brilliant Idea
I went to CVS this evening. I needed a few things, notably an ice pack and some more toothbrushes (a 3-pack lasts me a couple months). I also, on a whim, bought some nice pens and a bottle of CVS knock-off store brand citrus-flavored mouthwash. (For something as basic as mouthwash, why not buy the generic?)
So I was excited when I went to brush my teeth. I had a brand new toothbrush (the four I'd been using were no longer recognizably toothbrushes) and brand new mouthwash. Oh Boy! After brushing my teeth I measured out my 20mL mouthwash into the cap and, because I have a peculiar curiosity about what exactly I'm putting into my body, I checked out the active and inactive ingredients. Just as I brought the cap to my lips, I spotted "cochineal extract."
I gave the mouthwash to Sandy.
