Heya,
I thought I'd have time to do stuff during the summer. No such luck. They've updated this formatting! Spiffy.
Tomorrow's my last day of work ... Pretty sure I'm happy 'bout this. I've netted a pretty decent amount of money, acquired some useful skills and a new pet, and still have a fair bit of summer left for driver's ed, cleaning, friends, etc. I really like some of my cooworkers and I'll miss them but mostly I'm glad to be done. I got a lesson on Canadian geography from my boss today ....
Also feeling more cheeryptimistic about returning to Amherst (but I'm gonna miss Alex smuch!!!!!!!). I did have a rough semester this spring, if anyone noticed -- shit, that is NOT meant to sound passive aggressive. More, I think I did an ok job of not making too much of a fuss about it, in general -- those of you who got too much of this at the time, know all that. Anyway. But I'm looking forward to my classes, to my dorm, to all my awesome friends, and maybe even ... no. Not to Val. But to the gym. And the woods and the town and all that.
Alex & I are just getting over a stomach bug which was NO FUN ... but we're mostly better now.
More paragraph breaks make this easier to read! Or skim. Don't deny it, you're skimming. It's ok. I skim yours too.
I might or might not be going to Woodstock on Friday, depends on whether Dad withdraws from the concert/gets booted from the concert. Oh, the joys of administration v. art. I'm glad I'm not that talented. I really am. I'm jealous as hell but ... well, I don't want that. I think that for me, at least, it'd compromise my ability to relate to other people -- though obviously it doesn't for all ...
No more navel gazing!!
