Weekend Update.
Well I haven't posted in a while. Yesterday I had an audition for "Things You Shouldn't Say Past Midnight." It's a play about three couples, two straight, one gay. I got a call during the week from the secretary at the Castle. She said the play is about three couples who get to run around in their skivies, so they thought of me to come audition. Isn't that sweet? I think I did well, but I'll find out for sure if I'm in on Friday. This will be very tiring with my job, but I need to be acting. The play opens on January 22nd, so it will be a short rehearsal period. But because of that, I don't think it will effect Scion. If we play here in January, I can do it. And by mid to late February, the show will be over.
I saw two of my friends in a show last night, "Last of the Red Hot Lovers". They were really good, and the play was hilarious. I went out with them afterward. It's really good to see them, and I love that they accept me even though I'm significantly younger than they are.
On Wednesday I have my 3 month evaluation. I'm a little nervous, but I think it will go well. My bosses like me. I do have lingering paranoia about it. I'm still getting over the anxiety I had with my last job, where my evaluations consisted of negativity and threats of being terminated...bitch. But afterward we have a team lunch. I think it should go really well, with constructive criticism but overall positive. I'll keep you posted.
I also have a question for you guys. It may sound silly, but when a guy tells you he's going to be really busy for a month, does that mean he's lost interest? I know it could mean he'll be really busy, or that he's not interested, or maybe both, but what do you guys think?
