So I went to the emergency room...last night the dizziness was back, along with a headache, and the back of my skull is sore, like I hit it on something. I don't remember hitting my head at all. So they did CT scan, and the "frontal horn of the right lateral ventricle" has swelling "with mild shift" or something like that. That means that one of the sacs of fluid (?) is swelling. Or something. The doctor said it could be a normal variance. But they're sending me for an MRI this afternoon to look into it more closely. And I was worried about missing work. The swelling could be causing the headaches and dizziness. They gave me Vicodin for the headache. I didn't really need Vicodin, but I'm really glad I have it. Anna, I tried to call you but you didn't pick up, sorry if you see this here first...so until I have the MRI, I'm going to figure out what a ventricle is, call my neuroradiologist uncle to see if he has any idea exactly what is going on, and take some Vicodin. I'll keep you informed.
