And the Winner is...
A couple of weekends ago I went with a load of other people from the theatre to the Cinderella Trophy Awards. What is this I hear you cry? Well it's like the Oscars for Pantomime in the south west of the UK for Amateur Dramatics societies. You enter the competition, you have adjudicators and moderators attend your production and then go along on the night hopefully win trophies for things like Best Villain of the year, best Good Fairy, as well as more serious things like best director, Outstanding performance and of course the overall best panto ever award, the Cinderella trophy itself.
Most of you know that I do a lot of shows - I have also written the last two Pantomimes for Wells Little Theatre and last years offering Dick Whittington and his Cat was received well - but just because a show completely sells out doesn't mean that it does well at the awards!
Well, we were all hopeful and our hopes were not completely unfounded. This is the list of what we got!

And last but not least...
THE CINDERELLA TROPHY - WINNER - WELLS LITTLE THEATRE!
Yes we won the whole thingy. I got dragged up on stage to hold the Cinderella Trophy aloft in a dramatic victory way while we all sang "We are the Champions!"
Now all I have to do is finish writting this years Panto!
