Shingles 1, Vick 0
Damn you Shingles! Damn you to heck!
Unsurprisingly, once again I realise I'm not as recovered from Shingles as I believe. But THREE WEEKS SHOULD BE LONG ENOUGH!
But apparently it is not. Right now, my exhaustion of attempting to just keep going has caught up with me and thwapped me around the back of the head with a honking big migraine yesterday. Today I suffer from post migraine hangover where I want to snooze all day and feel decidely achy.
I do not recommend shingles. It is indeed painful and itchy as hell - in my case which I believe is mild to moderate, the pain is roughly along the lines of chronic sunburn down my right side and lower back. Sore enough that you don't want anything touching it let alone clothes! But that pain is fading off now and now I'm left with the realisation that ha, I might think I can carry on doing things like scenery painting but in reality...a few hours and I will be wobbly knees and shaky hands and needing to crash out.
