The journal has been somewhat quiet of late because of 1) the show and the fact that I get sucked into doing pretty much everything even if I'm not a producer and 2) I have had a deadline to finish writing this years pantomime in first draft.
Well last night, I finally managed it, and I have been forbidding myself from doing lots of things until I had a working draft at least to go to the Director with. Hope it fits the style and spec he wanted! Sadly, I am as much afflicted by long windedness in pantomime as I am in fic - yes Kat I know you are SHOCKED, SHOCKED I TELL YOU - so there is editing to do, but hey I can relax a little. Also, Saturday we are going to the Cinderella Trophy Awards for the south west (Sort've like the Oscars night for Pantomime) where we fully expect not to win anything, but hopefully we'll get nominated!
That was my first script so it would be cool to be nominated for that!
