I'm kind of hating this movie so far. I can't tell if the acting is just terrible or if the writing is just terrible or some unholy combination of both. (I'm leaning towards the third choice, if anyone's curious). It certainly brings back very happy and nostalgic memories of the first two original films, which I can't find anywhere now. :(
The real question of this movie is: why is it that no one assumes they're just humans with psychic powers? In my mind, psychic powers does not necessarily translate into extra terrestrial life. You are making me make impossible leaps in belief, movie! Admittedly, most movies force the viewer to suspend their belief but plot holes like this causes me to spork the movie's plotline all the time (Like with Superman!).
However, this is the best quote ever:
[to himself] "Don't go in the pimped out fridge, Jack..."
And some other good line(s):
[Replying to Sarah and her telekinesis], "No... I... don't do it because it's kinda creepy and I'd really like you to stop."
*
[Jack] "Hey, hey! Easy on the human bashing, okay? Some of my best friends just happen to be human."
*
[Dog]: ::Growling::
[Jack}: Sarah.
[Sarah]: He would appreciate you pulling over so that he can relieve himself.
[Jack]: Well, we don't have time for that. He shoulda went before we left Stoney Creek.

ETA: I fell asleep halfway through this movie and couldn't bother to re-watch all the parts I missed (I was skimming through most of the movie by that point anyway.) Why, Walt Disney, did you have to ruin a perfectly good movie?
