My father bought me a christmas present, but after reading my poetry portfolio from this past semester (I don't know if this caused it or not, it just immediately preceded the gift-giving) he somehow found he could not wait till december to give me my gift. Are you ready for it? Are you? 2nd (second) edition hardbound box set of The Lord of the Rings. I'm not kidding. You're all free to cum yourselves now.
OH MY GOD!!!! Honestly? I teared up a little. Okay, a little more than a little. Regardless this the absolute, no contest, best present I could ever recieve from anyone in my entire life (excluding of course the 1st edition, but those go for hundreds of thousands of dollars).
Okay, you can all gloat now. I'm out, gonna go buy myself Weezer's new album which is said to be the best work Weezer's done since Pinkerton and the Blue Album.
In other words, my life will shortly be complete.
Oh and I just bought myself a 2003 Toyota Matrix from Carmax. HOW FUCKING AWESOME CAN THINGS GET??? FUCKING CHRIST!!
