Weekend

This weekend was definitely eventful.
ALex and I left Thursday night to see Death Cab in Orlando. It was a great show and Alex and I really liked one of their opening bands- RaRaRiot. We've been listening to the Rhumb Line all weekend. My favorite is Oh La (Amanda if you don't know them already, you'd love them).
Friday morning we hung out with Dug and headed home so I could go to the high school art show. For some reason I felt really really out of place there and couldn't get comfortable. I think it's mostly just me and my insecurities but I just wish they weren't so evident (at least they feel evident to me), so I guess the better wish is that I'd stop thinking about it so much. Either way, I'm leaving and I only have a few more weeks until I'm done. I'm going to tell Clover straight out within the next week that I'm leaving. I just need to cut my ties altogether and get ready for this transition. - Anyway, after that I read a good chunk of my romance novel, which was definitely worth keeping!
Saturday Alex and I got up at the butt crack of dawn and drove down 41- almost to Miami- to bike ride 14 miles with Ingrid and her brother Gunter. We had a pretty good time. There were so many alligators they were on top of one another in some places in the canals. Wish I would have gotten more pictures but it was fun either way. Later we relaxed- had lunch in bed and a nap, cleaned up the house a bit and then went out to see Star Trek after eating at Stir Crazy. That movie is so good Alex and I are thinking about going to see it again.
Today was the lazy day. For some reason I just didn't feel like doing anything. Played a little LOTRO, rested, finished my book, went shopping with Alex and that's about where I am now. Well... that and doing finances. I really should be keeping a closer eye on it because frankly we've been spending quite a bit that we shouldn't be.

Yea, gotta get back to that. I cannot fucking wait to be done with this shit... have I mentioned that already? Alex feels the same exact way might I add... We are so ready to get out of here it's not even funny....
