Hawaii, Work, Parties
so, last week I went to hawaii. There's a lot to say, but I'm trying to make this quick b/c i have to go to work in the AM and i'm tired of telling the same story. basically, it was a lot of fun, the weather was amazing, the Pacific Ocean was warm, it was the first time I've actually gone in the water in an ocean b/c the Atlantic was always too cold, and I didnt really feel like coming home. The flights were long and I missed some of my friends at times.
I'm working at Smithtown Landing Country Club as a groundskeeper. The only bad part is having to start at 5:30 in the morning, but at least I'm out of there by 1:30. Then I can come home and sleep for a few more hours and wake up when everyone else is just getting home from their jobs. AT landing, for the first hour and a half or so I mow greens with this special kind of mower; it involves a lot of walking. Then I drive the cart around and empty garbage cans or refill coolers. Then I do whatever the boss guy tells me to do, which usually seems to involve weedwacking. Then a half hour lunch break. Then more whatever he tells me. And then if it's a warm day someone has to redo the coolers around 1:00. I like being able to drive to and from work; I can't wait until I get my senior licence though. Just under two months now.
So, I've had a really good past three nights. Monday night was Satrbucks w/ Christina and Amanda. Last night a whole bunch of people came over and that was a lot of fun. Tonight was Heather's party, which was also fun. Tomorrow is golf after work w/ sameer ben merideth. and then saturday is my party. Good stuff.
i have more to say byut i should go to bed.
