“You’re doin’ it all wrong ‘oward! You’ve gone an’ made ‘im all pudgy round the middle, s’not right!” Vince huffed, stamping his feet like a little kid.
“Remind me again why I’m doing all the work while you’re standing there, barking orders at me and telling me I’m ‘doin’ it all wrong’” Howard mocked his high and whiney feminine voice.
Vince folded his arms tightly and kicked at the fresh snow. “I believe it was your idea to come out in the bleedin’ cold and build a freakin’ snowman. Not mine,” he mumbled, plonking himself down on the damp whiteness.
Howard sighed in defeat and walked through the cloudy fog his breath had formed. He sat down next to Vince, wrapping both arms around him to stop him shivering.
I wish he would start dressing appropriately. He’ll catch pneumonia if he’s not careful.
Vince lent into the touch, nuzzling Howard’s warm neck, wrapped snugly in a scarf.
Howard kissed his temple, “I meant I wanted to build one with you Vince. You know... do something ‘Christmassy’ together.”
“Aw Howard, you big old softy! You did a brilliant job.” Vince grinned cheekily, “I like my men kinda pudgy ‘round the middle.”
