[Ren could be seen with his back to the communicator, bundled in a scarf and a long sleeved shirt that was just a liiiiiittle too big for him (it nearly reaches his knees, okay) with holes near the bottom and patches on the sleeves, but at least it was sleeves. How did you manage a lotus plant in this type of place...? Was it a special birthday wish?

No, it was the plant everyone received over the holidays. They all seem to be different plants though, and mine happened to be a lotus. [Does he sound just a little awkward talking about it, why yes he does.]

Given enough water to float in and keeping it away from frost is all it needs. They're hardier than they look, or at least this variety is.

I noticed that the quality of the soil was rather poor. I wanted to make preparations for planting some strawberry seeds I have with me.

I am. Three other cousins of mine--Shigure, Kisa and Hatori--are also here. We're a... pretty big family.

Mm, he is. He used to work as the Sohma family's personal doctor. Now he's just taking care of whoever ends up at the hospital, I suppose.

Shigure... Shigure is an irresponsible adult who likes to play childish games. He tortures those around him with pranks and tends to laugh at the most inappropriate things.
