Yay, Spring!!!

So the weather outside's delightful,
I'm happy, which is frightful,
But at least I'm updating this thing,
Let's all give a cheer out for Spring!!

I saw Mark today, reading in the patch of grass betwixt the JC and King Hall. He was as sweet and nice as ever. We actually got into a discussion, which I cut fairly quickly lest it seem like I was actually hitting on him (which I wasn't), or overstay my weclome (which I hate). But still, it was sooooo good to see him. I doubt I'll ever have a chance with him, but it doesn't matter if I can manage to work my way into his Good Friends list. Sorry but . . . I just like people who are that smart! It's such a contrast compared to the fare in the dorm (excluding Meghan and Brookes, and the other girls I haven't met who aren't morons).

In the meantime, I'm hoping to make it to level 16 on my Necro before the end of the week. Damn you, Guild Wars! Damn you to Hell! After all, I'm probably going to Hell anyway for laughing at Jon's joke about Viggo Mortensen's organic beard stubble farm, so at least I'll meet you there! Ah, dear Guild Wars, I do love thee.

Not so sad anymore, but I conclude that Communications cannot be salvaged. History, MAYBE, but since the paper is due tomorrow, and I haven't even read the book, I don't see that as likely. English, on the other hand, will hopefully come across as an A if I do well enough on this last paper. I got an 88% on my previous essay; I'm guessing since she wrote "Bravo!" and "Good job!" and "Nicely said!" in various
places that that was one of the higher scores. What can I say, it was hard as hell to pull off, and I admit that most of it was done last-minute. Hell, Farrah and I actually did our peer-review over AIM that morning! So, I'm happy. Too bad we're losing Ms. Foreman; even though her instructions aren't the best in the world, and it can be tricky to decide exactly what she wants, she was a great teacher.

Dammit, I can't stop laughing about Mortensen's organic beard stubble farm! I love thee, Jon Stewart.

Speaking of Jon Stewart, I recently realized that he is the most attractive person I know of. Not physically; He's handsome, but not very. He has the greatest personality, and once you get past The Daily Show with it's immature humor, and see what HE really has to say, he's pretty damn intelligent. I find that hot.

Quote of the Day:

"Qualities that wouldn't be good in ANY profession. Except, perhaps, Villianous Dog-Catcher."

- Jon Stewart in repsonse to accusations that Ambassador Bolton is abusive and a loose cannon
