Arts camp has been hell of an experience even though it's the second time I'm going for it. The decision to become Ogl was filled with apprehension and doubts. Without the support of Shiming, Julian, Glenn, Xinglong, Meiqi, Soph, Brenda, Seeteng, Audrey, Tzehao blah blah blah, it would have been impossible. To think that we won best Og, it is really beyond the world. Shouting like crazy and behaving like a siao-zha-bo was totally out of my league. Haha I guess I pulled through. The freshies are the best around, the best. Can you imagine, a used-to-have-stage-fright person like me, leading a bunch of councillors and freshies? The faith and belief that Wayne and Shiming has in me since day 1 made a whole lot of difference in me. I cannot begin to thank the both of them enough. All these are actually my dream coming through. I've always wanted to be leading people, to be a leader.. I thank God for the opportunity, no matter how big/small each one comes my way.
My birthday this year was a blast. I've never felt so special in my life! Starting with the Cg on Saturday and then celebrating twice on Wednesday itself with the Og and the Cg. And Shiming was the crucial factor in all 3. The time and effort she took to plan everything really really touched me so much so much. Not to mention dunking me in the sea upon reaching Sentosa. Plus Shaving cream. Ewww. Thank you Shiming, Thank you Wayne! Thank you to every single one of you who made a difference in my life. (:
