the ides of march
i'm feeling terribly sleepy today. i guess i've been overly worried about the upcoming finals exam (on March 15, hence the title). next monday would be the start of hell week, catching up with the last-minute quizzes. all i know is that i'm trying my darn best... or am i? i'm not even that excited about Maroon 5's concert tomorrow. (anyway, i hope it pushes through, and everything goes well.) damn academics, sucking the sanity out of me!
i've had 2 consecutive dreams wherein the color red prominently figures: 1) i dreamt that i was watching my dad cook in a red pot, and 2) i was in a mall and the first thing i saw was a flower shop with red roses, and i bought one to give mom for her birthday. she also bought one herself. then i saw a classmate of mine clutching a bright red bag.
... strange, huh? i looked it up in the "dream dictionary" and a possible interpretation would be that i'm lacking energy, and that i'm too anxious! (right on!)
i plead to the high heavens to give me strength and wisdom to win this lonely battle. :~
