i've finally updated The Legal Blog (because my LJ is the "clandestine" one, heh), so go check it out and guess what's camwhored. =p
another shameless plug: i've updated My Portfolio too, finally started indexing them and arranged chronologically. (almost) all my (saved) works, in all their original glory. so however childish some of them sound, don't sue me! ;) ... i've also thought about moving the whole thing to Wordpress, but that would mean another gargantuan effort. perhaps when i have a whole day of internet bumming?

March 5 / Maroon 5. i do hope it pushes through as expected. 14 days to go! hope it's an auspicious day -- crossing fingers and hope there will be no crappy fortuitous event -- no quizzes, no rain, no melodrama, no people power please! read around the forums that their regular setlist looks like this (it is a World Tour, after all):

US Election buzz. i'm pleased with the way the primaries are going these days. if i were a superdelegate, i'd support Barack Obama. i think he represents a change from the staid Washington political landscape and yes, he can inspire. i've heard his speech at the 2004 Democratic Convention and i thought he's very "presidentiable"... now that he's quite the frontrunner, i wish him the best and hope he keeps marching on!

Oscars! finally, the writers knew how to stop effin', haha. (what would hollywood be with the oscars!) i'm excited as always, and even if i haven't seen any of the Best Picture nominees (will have to make a trip the 'dibidi' store! friggin' cinemas! LoL) i'm betting it will be a toss-up. (NCFOM vs. TWBB. or A. or J. MC's the dark horse. eh?) ... among the presenters: Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, George Clooney, Patrick Dempsey, James McAvoy, Nicole Kidman, Katherine Heigl, Steve Carell, The Rock. they're putting all the stops! best part of all: no classes on Feb 25! =D
