yep, still fangirling Doctor Who.

asdlfjkljads;gj WHAT.

But in a good way, mostly.

That is my reaction to "Day of the Moon."

I don't for a second believe the Silence are gone for good; I'm really hoping Canton isn't, either. I mostly can't get my head around what it means that River and the Doctor keep meeting back-to-front -- partly because I don't think it's linear anyway, not even in reverse order -- but that's not stopping me from totally shipping them. And next week, pirates!

I'm apprehensive about Amy's possible mystical pregnancy, because those never seem to end well in fiction (from a feminist standpoint or for the character herself), and I don't exactly like the major use of guns this season, nor Moffat's pattern of writing female characters who spend their lives waiting for the Doctor.

But my love for the storytelling and the characters and the enormous scope of the Doctor Who universe wins out, and I can't wait to find out what happens next! I'm positive it will be another season-long arc, all tied up at the end -- with just enough ribbon dangling into the next season, of course.

I'm too sleepy/incoherent to say anymore now, and I think I have to watch it a couple more times anyway.

*happy sigh*
