Shuuhei reminded himself that the man had been rescued from the eleventh division my Komamura -> by Komamura.

I actually really like this. Canon tends to sweep by the devastation caused by the betrayal of three captains, focusing more on the physical, on the rebuilding, as well it should to avoid dragging. But that leaves places for great writers to fill in the blanks, to let us know how the left behind are suffering, and I think you've done a great job with this. Kira and Hinamori are in different places in reference to their captains than Shuuhei was, and it's nice to see how not only the betrayal of his captain, but also the betrayal of his basic belief system has affected him. And having Yumi to support him is wonderful. Yumi's right, Shuuhei is a great man, and I do think that great men are at least partially defined by whether they know it or not. Very nicely done! Exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for! I like your more thoughtful stuff just as much as your funnier stuff!

The second one was full of funny! I finally had to laugh out loud when Shuuhei's nose exploded. Yumi is one of the few that could pull of a look like that, though Kira is a close second. Very cute stuff!

Love the women lamenting the loss of so many good men! But poor Rangiku, getting all the blame. I do have to agree though, those are considerable... assets. Love your Yachiru, she's so cute!

HAHA I really can't type... I was too angst-filled with the fact that my computer didn't have internet? Yeah, that's it. Totally.

And Shuuhei and Iba and Komamura and Kenpachi and Tousen and that whole big mess with those poor neglected characters really kind of gets me going, I guess. They're fun to explore.
