ehm.. hi. I've been reading your stories for a while, and I've never liked anyone's so much before. Well... um.. the thing is, I thought I might introduce myself and say that I really appreciate your writing before I turn into some horrible stalker. xP...

I've been waiting for the sequel to the first bit of this for a while, now! So I'm actually really happy that you wrote it. It was really good! My favorite part was probably the end.. xD..“Huh,” he managed after a moment. “You’re taller’n me.”

Hi Jeina! hehe Hopefully the next portion of this arc won't take so long... o.o I was stuck on it for a good while. I had about 10 pages written the first time around, reread it, and HATED it. ^^;; So I deleted it all and started over. Haha So glad I finally got it out. *thumbs up*

zOMG!!! That is so cute!!!! I have no idea why Iba's brainlessness is making me squee but it just is -_-! I really really enjoyed that. I think it was Iba finally getting a clue and having the balls to ask Isane out *grins* Love it!!

Haha Iba's brainlessness has a harmless kind of good-intentionedness that I think, draws away from the fact that he's an idiot (a little bit). XD Hehe it's one of those thug survival tactics, I'd imagine. ^^;;

Nice! The way you write Iba's foot-in-the-mouthness comes across very differently than the way you write Ikkaku's. Isane's reactions were also spot-on, especially in the way she related to Iba as the person who used to torment her. I got the idea that both of them were probably as surprised by the way they themselves had changed as they were at the changes in the other person.

Whew! I'm glad they came across differently. I'm so much more used to writing Ikkaku, so I was hoping he didn't sneak in there too much somehow... Iba's voice is definitely different, I think. He's oddly very thoughtful when I think about it (I probably got those vibes with how he acts around Komamura), and the thing that I tried to keep in mind to set him apart from Ikkaku is the fact that Ikkaku says whatever is on his mind because he hates toying around and wasting time, while Iba's might be simply because he really has no other way to say it (ahaha I keep finding ways of calling him dumb don't I? o.o)

But yeah. To make things short, Iba is hard to write. ^^;; Isane a little bit too. -_-;;

Really nice. Iba's all foot-in-the-mouth and awkward but still come across as earnest and sincere. I love the characterization of Isane 'cause she isn't quite as fleshed out in the series. ^^

They really don't do a lot with her in the series, do they? The only thing I can think of is that moment when she wakes up after the SS arc and talks to Unohana taichou. She seems pretty uncertain a lot of the time. ^^;;

After reading this, it makes Iba seem smarter than Renji or Ikkaku, but then not really at the same time. I don't know how you do it. Thug love!

Haha Iba has is own special brand of intelligence (or I should say appeal, I guess) that's different from Renji and Ikkaku's, I think. Renji's is a sort of cute, clueless awkwardness while Ikkaku's a barrel-forward type. Haha Iba's honest and thoughtful but doesn't realize it, maybe? Like he feels it's just something that should be done and that's that. At least, that's what I'm starting to feel as I try to write him. ^^;;
