Wootage! Ikkaku love! Too bad it's not IkkakuxIchigo. It's nice to see Kira finding his backbone. I've always had the impression he was a good leader from that scene right before Ichigo and friend burst into Seiretei (sp?).

Yeah, I think Kira's got some power to him, and some brains, not to mention, but it always just strikes me at the difference between how he is in the academy flashbacks versus how he seems to be under Gin's leadership, and there's just something about that drastic change that makes me want to take Kira to the bottom of the trauma of having Gin as a captain, and then pull him back up by having him grow to be able to work without Gin. I think it was that drunken scene he had with Matsumoto in the aftermath of the Soul Society arc that made me super fascinated with pathetic-but-trying Kira. XD

I really think he'll be awesome once you know, he gets rid of those dark circles under his eyes and stops missing his ex-captain. Which is why I wanna write it. And I plan on writing more of it, we'll just see how cooperative my muse is. ^^;;
