I have always loved the idea of exploring what comes after you save the world. I imagine a lot of heroes have a hard time adjusting to the minutia of a "normal" life. Toph is one of my very favorite characters... well in as much as I can have favorites, they are all so amazing... and I think you pegged her just right. ^_^

This was both hilarious and touching. I adored Zuko's policy plights, the hiaku and the not quite haiku, and the Cabbage Merchant! I am so pleased that you have started writing Avatar fic!!!

toph working for the cabbage man. I DIED.

hysterical and sweet and almost philosophical (makes me think of finding my own job in the future--but i didn't even get to save the world ever!) and i love that it ends with toph and iroh. one of my favorite relationships in the cartoon. :)
