2004 Rotten Cat Contest
The Macon Telegraph is holding a contest for the most rotten cat! I couldn't help but submit Wobbles. She IS the most rotten cat I've ever met. It kinda sucked that I was limited to 200 words for my entry, so my entry sounds incredibly choppy, but I wanted to get as much in there as I could. Here's my entry:

Wobbles is a 3 ½ year old grey calico. She’s a prissy little thing. She’s aware of the fact she’s absolutely gorgeous, and adores posing for her admirers. She turns her nose up at anything except plain old dry catfood. I gave her fish last Tuesday, and she just turned away. She also insists on having ice in her water.
She hates people. Doesn’t like being around them, can’t abide being touched. There is one person who can touch her. My husband is the only one she actually tolerates. She’ll crawl up on his chest, purring and kneading like a kitten, but even then, if he touches her too much, she’ll growl and hiss. Even he has scars to prove her love is a fickle thing. When she’s eating, she can’t help but purr. This results in an interesting sound when you touch her. She will actually purr while growling.
She has provided us with many days of laughter, however. Every so often, she gets offended at her feet. She will twitch and growl, and eventually, attack her feet. It gets better when she reflexively kicks back at being bitten, which just makes her angrier. She literally will roll around the floor, attacking her feet.
