(OOC: Weird question. Is the power out/the room dark? I want to know if the shadow's being light-weakened or not so I don't make a mistake.)

Of course they wouldn't just let them escape to Japan unscathed.

That's what Ludwig grumbled to himself as he dragged his little squad in the direction of the screaming. Everyone had gone to their own little corners of the boat; he hadn't had time to check on those not with him before the screaming began. Right now, he only had Denmark, Italy, and Korea with him. Of those four, only Denmark was all that much of a fighter. He had given orders to Korea and Italy to try and bring as many people as possible to safety without endangering themselves, while he and Denmark would fight off the diminuitive menace.

The strategy seemed simple on paper: Ludwig would shoot at the beast from afar while Denmark engaged the beast in melee. But those teeth... "Do you think you're going to be able to fight that thing up close? Those teeth are big enough to cause severe repercussions for any wrong moves," he said to Denmark as he tried to see if there were any other tactics he could employ. The next realization came to him quite quickly. "Damn, we didn't bring anything to exploit their weakness to light!" A cursory scan of the room revealed nothing that could be used to that end, leaving Ludwig with no option other than to get ready to do battle.
