I've discovered that I really, really like the wind here in Kansas. There are days when it's almost meditative, being able to just feel it blowing, watching the trees sway. I think, aside from the obvious friends and family, that'd be what I'd miss the most if I ever move away.
Henry Rollins should get a cut of every copy sold of Metallica's new album and single. "Saint Anger" sounds so much like vintage Hank that it took me several listens to really believe that it was Hetfield on vocals.
I rented a copy of "The Real Cancun" tonight, because it was free and it was there. I feel dirty even looking at it. But it surely can't be worse than Manos. Right?
