[There seems to be a man lying somewhat limply on one of the seats. His pilot suit is torn in areas and his helmet is cracked. Although he seems to be out cold, eventually he stirs. Sitting up, he removes his helmet, showing a head of blond hair encrusted with dried blood.]

I'm... alive. Where...? [He looks around, confused. A thought comes to mind

[There's an assassin Yuri sitting nearby, leaning back and staring at the roof. Not that you'd notice, since his nice hat is covering his eyes. His curiousity is piqued by the mention of Rita and Raven, though he ends up writing it off as a coincidence sinice he hasn't looked at you yet.]

Your friends are by your side no longer. You'd best get used to it -- it'll be a long while before you can see them again.

[Flynn's head snaps over to where Yuri is sitting and doesn't quite register the voice yet. He takes a few steps closer to Yuri's position, keeping a hand on his gun.]

Then where are we. [Was he captured? But security seemed too lax for that...]

You're on a train that goes nowhere. It has currently taken several people from their home worlds and dumped them here.

[Yuri shifts a little, his hand going for his own gun.]

Do you plan on shooting me with that?

You expect me to believe something like that?

...Only if you attack me first.

Hmph. I have no need for attacking unless I'm the one who attacked. Merely... chatting so far.

[That's wher Yuri's ears perk up.]

...you sound rather familiar.

[Now that he mentions it...]

...Yuri...? [But no, that's not possible, right?]

[...well, that only heightens his suspicions. Yuri turns to look at the newcomer, shifting his hat so his face is in full view of Flynn's.]

...Flynn?

...hmph. Somehow, I was expecting you to show your face -- which circle of hell did you escape from now?

[...yeah, this isn't the Yuri you know, Flynn.]

[Flynn's caught off guard by how strange Yuri is acting, not to mention the fact that he saw him die in front of his eyes.]

What are you talking about...? [No, never mind that.] How'd you survive that explosion?

[Yuri rolls his eyes, his hands tightening araound the gun.]

About the same way you survived a gunshot to the head, dear friend. Or did that gunshot make you forget already?

What? I wouldn't be here if I was shot in the head! [He's bewildered by this, although only a bit of it shows on his face. That gun definitely isn't helping either.]

Why are you acting like this, Yuri?

[Yuri frowns, glaring at Flynn almost darkly as he slowly hieghtens his guard.]

Oh, really? And how do I know that? Perhaps I should test that theory?

I should be asking you that question. The only time I can recall you being like this was millenia ago.

...Is this about your family again? I told you: if you wanted to shoot me for that, I would let you. That's the punishment I deserve. But what you're talking about now doesn't make any sense. I...

Is this another one of your jokes, Yuri? [Never mind the fact that practical jokes don't transcend death.]

...wait, what are you on about now? Our families were killed in a cataclysm years ago that also made us demi-gods.

[Yuri relaxes the hold on his gun, more confused if anything.]

It's not. Don't tell me you've forgotten everything now.

"Demi-gods"? [Flynn's giving Yuri a look that says, "Did you blow up half of your brain cells in that explosion?"]

I haven't forgotten anything, but what you're telling me now sounds ridiculous.

[Yuri frowns -- and then glares darkly at Flynn in realizaation.]

Whatever. Perhaps you are not the Flynn I know then, unless you're a demi-god who's also a corrupt police officer as well as a terrorist.

[Well, Flynn fits the bill for one of them, at least. But he still remains confused about this.]

The "Flynn you know"? That doesn't make any sense.
