[Figuring Kaoru and his brother would be fine without him there, and not having found anything back in the fireplace car, he's gone back to wandering the train.]

"Costumes? This definitely wasn't here last time I went this way. How strange..."

*Nick peeks around the corner of one of the racks, grinning like a dork.*

Nope! The cars move around. Apparently it feels like being festive.

[Max smiles back at him.]

"And of course the only people in the festive car would be two grown men, right?"

Of course! *Nick laughs and goes back to digging around, trying to find something respectable that can still be considered a decent costume. There was that steam punk stuff Sara mentioned once...*

Maybe if we're lucky there's some kind of party going on. Man, I haven't done Halloween stuff in years.
