*the lights have finally decided to come back on for the time being - at least in all the cars Kaoru's gone through in his search for a car with food in it - through the occasional rocking has yet to subside and Kaoru has more than enough bumps and bruises from trying to stop himself from/falling over. On top of that, the heating seems to have died again so he's bundled up in his coat and huddled in front of the kettle, waiting for it to boil and muttering about the 'stupid train being stupid'*
