Needless to say, Kanda hadn't been very happy when he found the gloriously yellow stickers over his precious ATs when he came out of the shower. Oh, he knew who did it, of course. That didn't mean he didn't mind it any less.

After painstakingly peeling each and every one off and making sure none of that stupid residue was left behind, Kanda debated whether or not to do what the note said.

...How bad could it be? He was already stuck on a train (permanently, or so they say).

Heaving a small sigh, the Japanese hoisted his motorized skates under one arm and made his way to the dining car. Whatever Lavi had to say better be worth the trip-- even if he would've had to get there anyway to eat later on.

Sam had already been sitting at his favorite spot, his journals and books spread out across the table. He was trying neither to keep to himself too much nor give Lavi too much attention. He had notes to go over, and Lavi had food to cook.

He glanced up when Kanda walked in.

Hmm. A face he hadn't seen before.

Sam's brow furrowed. Whoever this guy was, he didn't seem like he wanted to chat. So, Sam just cast a quick glance back at Lavi before looking back down at one of his journals.

Of course he looked up when he heard the doors open, grin stretching wide across his face in a teasing manner. "Perfect timing as usual Yuu." It was nice, he had to admit, seeing his teammate more than once in a blue moon on this train, "Go ahead and take a seat. The food's almost ready to serve."

The redhead continued to finish putting the food on the plates, most of it was a traditional Japanese fare with a few 'normal' side dishes. While Lavi didn't make a habit of it he knew how to prepare a decent meal, something else his grandfather had bothered cramming into his head.

Lavi looked over briefly at Sam, noticing the older man still wrapped up in his notes. Not that he minded so much as long as Sam remembered to eat.

"You want herbal tea to drink?"

"Stop calling me that," was Kanda's initial immediate response. He glanced at the other occupant of the car, wondering if he was any company of the redhead's. Lavi hadn't said anything about anyone else being here, but seeing as the food Lavi was doling out seemed to be for more than two, he must be including this guy in on their meal.

Dumping his ATs on the ground next to a chair, Kanda took his seat at the same table. He paused for a moment at Lavi's inquiry.

"..So long as you don't spike it."
