Just a quick note to everyone who might care...

I'm spending the night at my sister's tonight. This really means little more than a change of scenery- sitting parked in her office all night instead of curling up in bed with Vlad until I fall asleep. Still, I don't want people getting worried when they see Trillian off for once. It just means I haven't gotten around to attacking my sister's computer yet. I'm very tempted to take my laundry with me, but I'll have to ask when she gets here. Never know if she'd want my boxers and stuff hanging in her basement or not.

I can just imagine what would happen if John (my brother-in-law) were to come downstairs to get something out of the freezer or to do his own laundry and he saw my clothes hanging on their line. Either he'd make the connection between gamer t-shirts and orange buttondowns and me or he'd ask my sister why there was another guy's clothing hanging on their line.

Eh. I kid. The bras would give me away, I think. All...two of them.

I /am/ taking some music with me, because I've decided my sister needs to learn the joy that is prog. I think she'll like it, but I'm not entirely sure. Today I'm just taking nice, pretty stuff to bait her with: Once, Reckoning Night, and The Human Equation (Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, and Ayreon respectively). We'll see if she likes it, eh? Once I think she'll like, becuase she's a soprano and how can a soprano not enjoy listening to Tarja? Reckoning...I'm not sure, but it's sexy and if all else fails I'll just play Shamandalie for her a million times. I'm a little worried about how she'll react to Human Equation just because of Pain, Agony, and some of Pride's parts. Monique's not exactly a growly-music person. I wouldn't dare trying Finntroll on her, for example. Blind Guardian might be okay, and I'm pretty sure she'd like Angra.

Then again, she listens to Country music one minute and classic rock the next, with an old metal CD in the hole. There is no predicting her. But if I can get my mom to acknowledge that the guys in Sonata have nice voices I think I can get my sister to like Ayreon.

We'll see. *grins evilly* I'll be back later this afternoon or tonight.
