I've been so busy fixing Maribel's wedding stuff that I have barely had time to get online. Last Saturday was her wedding and I spent the entire day there. I was in charge of pictures, so I snapped shots at everything and anything I saw. The end result was somewhere near 200 pictures. Maribel and I had only talked about my taking the pictures then handing her the picture CD so she could go get hardcopies made. However I spent the entire week going over all the photos and fixing those that needed that extra help. (I am in LOVE with Photoshop!!! Anything that does a quick zits-be-gone is a gift from heaven) After messing with Photoshop for a few days I ordered the 100 best to put into an album I found that was perfect for her wedding pictures. Yesterday I went to find an 8x10 frame because I also wanted to make a black & white picture to fit in it. I found a beautiful frame at Mikasa and on the way out I passed by Saks 5th and saw a set of 6 wallet-sized silver frames. Since the large frame had hearts and the set had hearts, it looked perfect together. At the end of the day I had the CD with all the pictures, the album w/the 100 best, the large frame with their wedding kiss picture, and the little set with assorted wallet sized pictures from the ceremony. I was so nervous that she wouldn't like it!
When I saw her last night she was floored that she got more than just the CD. Her and Oscar genuinely seemed to appreciate it, so I was very pleased that my gift went over that well.
Yesterday was also the beginning of some kind of cold I'm getting. It's weird cause most of my colds begin the same way but this one started with my losing my voice a little. I think I kinda liked my new sexy, raspy voice!! Too bad this morning I woke up much worse. I can barely utter more than a whisper. There goes the only sexy thing I had going for me! LOL
Hope I'm better by Monday.
