Buffy brought the stake down from a side-spin, and a vampire exploded into dust.
"W00-H00! Hasta la vista BABY!" She did a victory dance, shaking her spandex-clad butt in her Watcher's direction. "Was that beautiful or was that beautiful?"
"If you say so," Merrick intoned drily from behind her.
She turned to answer and found herself coughing through a mouthful of dust, the remains of a vamp Merrick staked while she was doing the end zone shuffle. "Oh."
"Let that be a lesson to you, young lady," he said, pointing at the dust pile. "A Slayer's work is never done."
