Went to see the new Star Trek movie this morning
and ZOMG they're all so cute and shiny-young, I just wanna pinch their widdle cheeks!
I bought it, as itself and as the setup for a franchise reboot. They've written it in such a way that they can have their New Adventures without either disgracing or being enslaved to TOS Continuity. It feels like the TOS crew is back, and I'm satisfied with that as long as they don't fall victim to the odd/even sequel numbering curse.
Also, Karl Urban makes an adorable Leonard McCoy. <3
