You know what the best vacation is? The one that you don't know if it's even going to take place. My family has been planning this thing for a while, and it's supposed to start on the 26th. Yesterday, it was decided to cancel the trip due to lack of funds... Thank god I didn't tell my boss the trip was canceled. I get home and they are discussing ways to make the trip happen. So, it's now four days before we MIGHT leave, and we haven't decided if we're going or not... D@mn it... Some want to, others don't, so the family is internally divided on top of everything. And you know, the worst part is that I'm not even surprised this is happening. The number of times in the past that a trip has been moved up or pushed back and changed and re-changed and then canceled and uncanceled! It's enough that I have to explain to the people that I used to work for that the days I would be gone were tentative until a week before we left, and that it wasn't even solid then. There was one time I had a grand total of one hour of warning to pack because we were leaving a full day earlier that I thought we were... Why can't we just decide on something and stick with it? (And why am I used to this?)
