Trying to fit a rectangle into a ball.
1. When do you doubt yourself?
Regularly -- you mean last time? Late last night.
2. Who do you owe an apology?
Hmm. Nobody comes to mind; when I screw up, I usually come right out and say "I'm sorry, I'm a moron" pretty quickly. If I owe you one, lemme know!!!
3. When is the last time you felt embarrassed?
Wow...quite far back. I rarely get embarrassed. Maybe sometime back in high school?
4. What do you ignore?
My inner voice, telling me someone I've just met isn't as good a person as I'd like him or her to be. I usually give that person the benefit of the doubt...and end up realizing I should have relied on my first impression. But I can't help it -- hence the perpetual doubting of self.
5. Do you love yourself?
Well, I *love* myself, but I'm not *in love* with myself, you know? ;D
thefridayfive:
1. Do you download music not from the popular genres of Top 40, pop, rock, rap, dance, R&B, or country?
Yes.
2. Are there any musicians for whom you've downloaded a significant amount of their material yet own few or none of their albums?
Hmmm. *checks iTunes* Alison Krauss, with or without Union Station. I tend not to buy bluegrass because
agentirish believes it to be hell in music form. Oh, poor misguided creature! *g*
3. Have you ever enjoyed a downloaded album so much that you went and bought the physical album?
Yes! Wolfmother, +44, Slade, My Chemical Romance...and that's just off the top of my head.
4. How many different ways of playing music do you own (such as radio, stereo system, computer, Walkman/Discman, mp3 player, mp3-ready phone, etc.)?
Yes to all that. I'm a music whore.
5. Do you still have and/or play a favorite vinyl album, cassette tape, or 8-track tape?
Still have some favorite albums (Elton John's "Honky Chateau", Styx's "Paradise Theater" and Adam and the Ants "Prince Charming") and a few tapes (mostly K-Tel collections). I have no 8-tracks. I feel hollow somehow.
Which reminds me, I need to check out who's playing when in DC's
Jazz In The Garden series. Mmm, free musika.
