#13: the 2" thick cassette tape matierial = VHS tape material I believe... unless it's 8-track tape... never seen that stuff IRL tho ;)

Nope, it was wider than VHS tape -- I'd say that it was about about 2 or 3 times as wide -- about as wide as a piece of duct tape! Maybe it was used for some kind of really old reel... hmmm...
