Some good news right now...
Some good news.
It looks like we have a dj for our wedding! Lucky enough it's our dear friend Erica who is actually the person that introduced us that fateful night. I am so glad that she is going to be there, she really is amazing at what she does.
She knows just how to get people out on the dance floor and how to mellow a crowd if they need to be. So yay.
It also looks like we might have a photographer to make up for our inability to have Karen and Adrian. We have a mutual friend that lives here in dc who is just breaking into the photography business as an actual job and we would more than likely be his first wedding. We are taking a calculated risk with this, we realize. We are willing to take the chance on someone who works we enjoy so that they can further their professional career, plus! we get a discount! Yay.
So good news. Some good news to keep me from losing my mind. All this stress from everything has been slowly eating it away. I have not been able to sleep. I keep having horrible nightmares of her breaking into the house, stealing the clothes right off my back, my teeth chipping and falling out. I found my first grey hair today, that was depressing. I know it was caused by all of this.
