I wanna be a Producer!
So I have not said anything because I didn't want ot jinx anything. I'm still wary but we are at the point where it is on the club's schedule of events, all the bartenders know about it, 9 of the 10 slots are filled and I just need a dj and mc! What am I talking about you ask? Well... I am talking about "Queen of Hearts" the burlesque show I am producing!!
This show is going to be May 25th at Penn 12. We are still working on locking down how much for entry but no more than $5. It is going to be FABULOUS!! I have performers lined up from Baltimore, New York City, DC and Richmond already! I'm working on one more out of town act just cause I want it to be a wide variety from what everyone sees here all the time with the DC Gurly Show. That's not to say there won't be a little Gurly booty shaken on stage. I am so excited
So I guess if you are in the area, keep the date free, May 25th, Friday. Come out and support me if you are able to. I mean I understand we all have busy lives but this a big deal for me, more so than performing which I WILL be doing! So yes, yay!
