Oh but the cutest thing ever
I saw the most cutest thing ever on my drive home last night. There was a Mama Deer at the side of the road, with twin baby spotted fawns both nursing! Their little heads were bobbing with happiness and hunger, making their enormous ears flop around ridiculously. I loved seeing it, though it made me sad because if these babies are so nonchalant as to feel comfortable nursing in plain sight of traffic, they are pretty much destined to become roadkill. Though I guess most deer in the 'burbs are destined to become roadkill, so I'll just be happy with my little wildlife encounter and try not to think about it.
