(no subject)
Today I finished my class "Microsoft Excel Intermediate" I was a bit disappointed in myself, I missed a question. :sigh: So only 98%, not 100% like the last two. But still good enough to pass! :-)
Went and helped LadyD at her place again. 2 bags of trash, a pile of recycling and a box for Goodwill later...still needs work, but the sewing room is starting to at least have some semblance of order. Still need to go through the boxes still in the family room, of course. But it is definitely getting better. I told her mom that we'd organize her room when we were done with the rest. Since we've been putting all her stuff that we find in there...and she isn't able to do much herself, it really needs some decluttering and fixing now. She was very sweet, though, and gave me her extra monitor (she got a larger one since she has very bad eyesight). Yay!
So I have a lovely flat-screen monitor :-) Have I mentioned how much I love my friends?
Oo, and I get to help plan a holiday party for between Christmas and New Year's. It's at someone else's house--mine really isn't big enough for that sort of gathering.
I do want to try to put up some holiday decorations this year. I mean to every year, but most of the time don't, because it's just me. Why put up what I'm just going to take down again. It's all very sad, don't you think? But at least I'll get out Holiday cards! PM me if you'd like a card and I don't have your address :-)
