Look! It's me again!
The icon is to celebrate that elections are over and the Ads are history and all those little signs have to go away now. I hope that everyone who was eligible to vote in the US Elections did so...it is important to exercise those rights! If your candidate(s) did not win, my condolences, if your candidate did win, congratulations! Now, let us pray for four years in which I do not bang my head against the wall wondering why we keep electing people who obviously flunked the "Works Well With Others" portion of their kindergarten class ;-)
What else have I been up to? Let's see. Honestly, my life is not significantly different. I see my counselor on Wednesdays, I help MamaG, I went to Orycon, my grandma will be 96 in a month (and is doing quite well after her surgery last week), my mom is doing well, my sisters are good, my friends are friendly and I still have no job. So...one negative, LOL!
Coming up are The Holidays. Starting with the American Thanksgiving, followed by Rampant Commercialism, followed by a lovely Christmas. If anyone wants a Christmas Card and I haven't responded to your request yet, please PM me to make sure I have your current address :-)
Upcoming is the OSFCI December Board Meeting. I'm going to be going to that one. We'll see what happens :-)
Hotel Liaison for GameStorm. Got most of what I need, except for a couple of items. Need to make a couple of phone calls and send an email or two.
Assistant Secretary for Kumoricon. I am glad I can help :-) I will see what else I can do to be of assistance as well. Perhaps I'll do another panel. Perhaps on something more relevant? Plus, I'd love to do the Cosplay Contest Stage Management again. That reminds me, I need to send some pics to Andi.
Vice Chair of Notes for Orycon 35. Helping to keep the Chair sane. That's a...wait, keep her as sane as she currently is. After all, she volunteered for the job. :-) Seriously, though, I think she is going to do a fabulous job and I will do my best to make it go as smooth as possible.
Anything else? Oh, yes. I signed up to do NaNoWriMo. If you include Opening Ceremonies, then I wrote something. If not, I haven't. *sigh* But it's not too late! Right? ...right?
Right! Got my bicycle tires fixed and went for a ride today to drop off my ballot. After having done so...I felt like toast. Sweaty, hot, thirsty (why didn't I bring water??)...but at least I did it! Second time in...more years than I remember that I've ridden. Whoo.
Finally, a Big Happy Birthday to Lady D! Yayayayayayay!
