Bits of this and that!
I know, I'm supposed to be posting 10 things I'd like to say to one person...but I can't think of anything yet. *sigh*
However! Today has been a lovely day! I got up (always a plus), I got a call from a friend asking me to forward my resume to certain parties...yay! Who knows what will happen...but it's the closest thing to a positive response I've gotten in a long long while!
Also, since I have two friends coming over for a convention department meeting tomorrow...I cleaned! Yes, I really did! I self-cleaned my oven (oh, it was so hard...I had to push two buttons and throw a latch!)...I also did a load of dishes, cleaned my toilet, wiped down the bathroom counter, cleaned up my desk (yes, you CAN actually see the desk now!), put some clothes away, piled together trash, recycling, goodwill items, partially cleared my kitchen table...holy cow, I was actually productive today!
It has been so very long since I've gotten up the energy to do more than the bare minimum...as I told my doctor during my checkup on Tuesday, I've just been in a very negative space recently. So it is really nice to have energy and direction both at the same time :-)
Yay!!
Oh, and adding a handful of frozen blueberries to my daily smoothie is not only tasty, but doctor recommended :-) Yay!
