Holidays and 2007

I know I seem to say this everytime I write a post, but I feel bad I just never seem to remember to post on here. I miss all you guys and do wish to catch up. I guess I've become a fan of in person and cell phone (yikes I used to hate phones) conversions verses telling you all my boring life stories committed to print. I think I like to live vicariously through all of you. Your lives seem so much more exciting then mine. Being in school, having boyfriends, going out. Ok I admit I'm not jelous of the studying and tests. I am so gald to be done with those.

On the positive side, once you have to literally earn your vacation, you appreciated to much more. I just had a whole week off of work, and it was fabulous. One whole week and no Work, which for me meant avoiding NEWS, since my job revolves around NEWS. Oh and spending lots of time with my litle brother, who is 9 years old now! When did that happen?

I did have fun buying all my own presents and sending out all my own Christmas Cards to family and friends. I feel very grown up, along with the moment of panic when I looked at how much I spent on Christmas presents and my depleated bank account. (Note, I get semi-concerned if I don't have at least $1,000 in the bank) Call me a worry wort, pessamist, whatever, I hate the idea of not being prepared.

My BIG Christmas presents this year...A Computer Chair (the cheat one I bought for college was broke to the point I could lay almost completely 180 degrees back) and a fire/water safe/proof box for all my ultra important documents. Did I mention there was a small electrical fire two floors above me in Sept that forced a full building evacuation for around 6 or 7 hours. No damaged, but the place smelled like smoke everywhere in the place for months. So as you can tell I get very excited over very practical things.

My other fun presents were dimond stud earings from my parents and this georgous table cloth with matching place mates and coordinating napkins for my pretty little dinning room table from my grandma. Oh, and of course mom's Lazzana for Christmas dinner and the week after thanks to left overs and living alone.

Only other fun things to note are my brother spent two nights at my place and had a blast, and when my mom brought up the "I would really like Angela to start looking for a date" line (I should be grateful she's moved from future husband and boyfriend to date) someone actually stood up for me saying her daughter is very smart, happy and sucessful, and 30 without a man. Thanks Mrs. T (mother to my friend Kelly from grad school).

That's it!
