Punny Wine

Last night at dinner with my folks, my friends Andrews & Katherine brought some homemade mead, and some wine. One of the wines was called "Cardinal Zin". Andrew indicated it was from a small some what sporadic boutique California vineyard called Bonny Doon. So, confusing it with Brigadoon, I asked if they only made a batch of wine once every hundred years. That got the puns rolling, with such gems as:

If we had a wine tasting party it could be...

• Seven Deadly Zins

And then I noted that if it was a particularly festive blended red, we could call it...

• Zin-Zin-Syrah
