Hello?
I hope everyone's doing ok. I've been cut off from interacting with the real world by a combination of finicky dial-up and general anesthesia. This weekend was crazy but fun. Brad walked across the stage and I carried a flag (for the College of Science and Technology) in Saturday's graduation. I sat hidden by the huge banner two seats away from the traditional bagpiper. His outfit is really cool up close... the woven knee socks are down-right impressive. I joined Brad, Jessica, their dad and mamaw for chinese which was lots of fun and then we all rushed to move out of the dorms. Just in case I haven't said this to any of you more than a dozen times in the last week, I hate moving and everyone's departure at the end of the semester. It was, however, time for me to get off of campus.
Sunday, I delivered presents to my friend from highschool, John. As he usually wraps mine in aluminum foil (quote "It's shiny and you don't need tape... what more can you ask for") I layered his in cling wrap. Granted, his had the better effect, but we were both bested when he was gifted with a movie wrapped in layers of multi-colored electrical tape. I tip my hat... At his house we worked on setting up his toys (Playstation2, VCR, and tv) to run through his stero system. Many trips to Radio Shack, where someone finally drew us a picture.
Monday, I had a wisdom tooth removed. My cheek is unnaturally large and anesthesia makes you have weird dreams... enough said. I really don't understand why any one individual requires that much of my money for about 20 minute's work. I probably never will.
Now that the drugs are wearing off, I'm trying to read Guns Germs and Steel. It looks really neat, but I haven't been focusing much.
Grades were out today. I was extremely happy/surprised with mine.
I'm rambling a little so, sorry about that. I hope you all have an awesome Christmas and get a chance to rest up before school starts back. See you all soon.
